THIS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED! Be advised that you are purchasing this product AS IS.

A 100% mesh avatar with complete animation overriders, texture appliers, a tinting HUD, speed control and a modder's kit!

BE ADVISED:
*Only guaranteed to work with the default Second Life avatars and shapes. See list of partially compatible bodies below.
*This avatar uses animations to force unused bones into a specific shape to achieve a fluid spine and legs, which means you may need to relog after removing it. See included instructions.

Features:
*Lightweight, LOW complexity (6500)
*Various additional animations, all driven by a collapsible animation HUD and overrider
*Tail is hideable (may not work with other RIGGED tails due to atypical skeleton layout)
*SIMPLE and MIRRORED UVs for easy custom texturing, if you'd like to sell your own skin textures via the included texture applier
*3 running speeds, 4 ground sits

*All purchases from both the Marketplace and the inworld store get free updates to this avatar FOR LIFE!

PLEASE NOTE: As with all non-humanoid mesh avatars, rigged clothing will not work on the feline body unless specifically rigged for it.

All non-default SL bodies are NOT guaranteed to work with this avatar - HOWEVER, I've tested what I know of, and many work pretty well. All bodies listed below don't have conflicting joint positions, but they might require adjustments in their shapes to properly fit around the middle.

RED REMORA - FELITAUR AVATAR (DEFAULT SIZE) works with the following mesh bodies in their DEFAULT shape settings:
-Second Life Default Male
-Second Life Default Female
-Maitreya
-Slink Physique
-Slink Physique Male
-Absolut Creation Adam
-Absolut Creation Eve (Slim)
-Utilizator Avatar 2.0
-Belleza Venus
-Belleza Isis
-Belleza Freya
-Belleza Jake
-Jomo Mesh Body

The following require adjustments to their shape:
-Absolut Creation Eve Pulpy - Belly is too forward, adjust Saddle Bags and Hip Length.
-TMP Female - Some hip clipping in certain animations.
-TMP Male - Some hip clipping in certain animations.
-Signature Geralt - Some hip clipping in certain animations.
-Signature Gianni - Some hip clipping in certain animations.
-Aesthetic Enzo - Too big for Default size, use Large size in Extras box.
-Aesthetic Smith - Too big for Default size, use Large size in Extras box.
-Krankhaus Kuroo - Hips clipping in most animations.
-Utilizator Kemono - The deformer (priority 6 animation) within the Kemono body heavily alters the position of the front legs. A work around is to use the No Leg Deformations version within the Extras box for Kemono, make a copy and delete the AO script inside. Unfortunately you'll have to recreate your shape to change the shoulders back. Working on having a custom deformer made.

RED REMORA - FELITAUR AVATAR (LARGE SIZE) works with the following mesh bodies in their DEFAULT shape settings:
-Second Life Default Male
-Aesthetic Enzo
-Aesthetic Smith
-Slink Physique Male

Tails:
-!EVolved creatures! Scorpion Tail - The animations included in the tail's AO break the felitaur body. Could potentially work if anims were removed somehow.

If you have any questions or issues, or even suggestions, don't hesitate to send me a notecard! PLEASE try to contact me before leaving a negative review and I'll do anything I can to accommodate you, thank you!

At first sight I fell in love with the avatar, the animations are very nice, but there is a problem, they become strange with my shape, especially when sitting, the body is very small in relation to the human body so at least for me makes it look very bad, I would like to be a more imposing felitaur, I hope it is solved in new updates

It's a very brilliant work. But the AO of human body part is too stiff.
I hope you will update an better AO in the future.

I have had the luck of seeing this in early progress ages back when bento was still on beta grid and in testing stages and was really excited. Then poor Tornleaf had to take a vacation from SL for some RL reasons. I see she is back! I see this fuzzy body! I get fuzzy body! The animations where beautiful back when I first saw it and they've been refined since. I love this kitty bum!

The only critiques I have is that it's very small. I've had to make my shapes almost child-size to fit proportionately. The larger body is much nicer for me, however the feet paws don't seem to scale up proportionately.. but this could be a very likely be a choice of creator's style and if so? I can totally adapt to that. I'd LOVE to see the forelegs and paws in general beefed up a small amount and a bit larger body for larger avatars and that's about it.

It works beautiful out of the body, it comes with a good variety of appliers for different patterns right out of the box, comes with a kit to build your own applier and uvs/textures are included to work from as a base.

As always, Tornleaf has made something awesome and I can't wait to see more.

Decent but could use a few changes.

If the creator keeps going with updates, this is going to be great! A couple points...

1) Legs and feet are WAY too small....look like the mini-feet on Kemono AV's. Take a look at a lion or a tiger (or even a housecat) relative to body size and compare. They are smallish on the default size and ridiculously small on the large size body.

2) Front legs are too far back and too bent when standing making the body look top-heavy in the front. Looks like they are about to pounce. Standing lion for reference ( https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-side-view-of-male-lion-standing-in-dry-grass-displaying-flehmen-40136915.html ).

Other than that, nice work. I'd love to see the maker and other creators support skins for this one based on the more popular furry AV's. Am trying to match color to my VFUZZ lion modkit skin and since my photshop skills are weak, not having much luck.

This felitaur is everything it needs to be. I joined it with the Belleza Isis body with no problem. Got it textured (thanks to Arahnia) to match my DSD Lion theme. The animations are good but it could use some more active stands, and the AO needs to be turned off for the dances to work correctly. Comes with a nice simple little belt to hide the join if yours doesn't match too well. Includes a larger body size if you.. want to be larger. Several stock textures and Looking forward to other animations and accessories. Sits are activated by ctrl-alt-s; took me a bit to figure that out. The movement animations are good. All you nutty Chakats, rejoice. :D

Let me start by saying I'm overall happy with this 'kit' with the understanding that it's going to be getting some improvements and updates in the future. Make no mistake, in it's current state it's got one foot still in beta. If I didn't know the maker, I'd never have spent the asking price, but I know it will be getting updates and improvements. This is very much a mod kit. Do not get this if you aren't comfortable editing AV parts, using the shape editor, and possibly knowing how to texture. You will need an AV that you can alpha out the legs and part of the lower body. Most, but not all mesh AV's allow this. There is an alpha supplied for system bodies.

Most anything that works for the upper body of the AV you're using with this will still work, but you're going to need to demo clothing items. The included belt helps hide the transition from upper to lower body and I expect other options to appear in short order. I was able to get it close by adjusting the body fat and love handle settings but without some detail texturing, the join line is pretty obvious.

The included animations are well done and the hud for those is similar to the one used for the fennek. I look forward to getting more anims for it in the future (a few more have been added with the latest version). Speaking of that, biped dances seem to just move the arms and upper torso without doing anything with the legs. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though maybe could be used to avantage in the future.

I would definitely suggest finding somebody to show this off before buying. In my case the two who offered were using anthro feline AV's which I expect a large percentage of the customers for this will be doing as well or using Omega based mod kits for their human mesh bodies. I'm reposting this as my main objection has been addressed. The price went down to what I could call fair. The maker even refunded me the difference which was unexpected and very classy.
