In response to popular demand, I'm happy to present this River Bank Building set.
Create your own stunning winding river or lake side scene with this easy to use set. Can be used in conjunction with SL water or Skye Water System pack (see link below).

This build takes full advantage of the power of MESH to bring you detailed objects with a refreshingly low prim count.
In the box:
4 x Main river bank pieces (with a gentle slope for shallow rivers) - 3 or 4 prims each
4 x Main river bank pieces (as above but with a steep slope for deep rivers) 3 or 4 prims
2 x Filler pieces - use these to smooth out any gaps in your landscaping - 1 prim each
1 x River bed piece for use with shallow river bank pieces (not necessarily required for narrow rivers) - 1 prim each
1 x River bed piece for use with deep river bank pieces - 1 prim each
1 x Rocks - scatter these about your river bed to add interest. - 1 prim each set
Sample pieces - I've made up a few samples to get you started.
River Sound Effect pieces - Some pieces (rocks and water) have river sounds (click to turn on/off) Use these sparingly along your river if you need a little babbling in your life
Bonus Pieces
2 x Water planes - for use if building in sky or on non-terraformable land. A few people have asked if I have anything like this available so I have included these in this set as additional items.

What sold me on this and other items from studio-skye is visiting their island to see just how well their products add more realism to a landscape, sim, partial sim, or a beach. I made several visits to their island to study just how they made this look so real and then decided their products were what I've been looking for. It's copy, so though it may look expensive at first, it really isn't on with the number of pieces you get and that you can use them over and over again.

I am in love with Skye! must have bought half their store in addition to the stuff my husband already had... the Beach, the cliffs, the waterfall, all bridges, the dunes, the Cuesta rocks ( OMG check those out! ). Yes they are expensive and yes I was like OOMPF once done shopping.. but they are worth it!! These river banks? perfect! they work really nicely and made our sim look SO much better! yay!

Hey, I am not the 'expert' landscaper, but this made it very simple to be one! Great textures etc, oh n be sure to get the bolt on season pkg.
Great work, but way over priced
So, I've bought a couple things from here now and I can't complain about the quality, they really do look nice. Only problem I have is these are WAY over priced. I wanted to stick with my Fall theme but to buy the add on is another L$400 on top of the L$700 I had to pay for the river bank and the enchanted pond. Would probably buy a lot more to decorate my parcel with but I just can't afford these prices. As such, this is very disappointing. I would love to give 5 stars for all of this work, but just seems very money hungry. Shame.
beautiful work, but not support
Beautiful work, realistic, when you see so many crap in second life for rivers and creeks.
In my case I wanted a shallow creek, and the river banks were not totally suitable. Still better than other options available on the market.
The support was however existent, no answer has been given to my questions in IM, that is a huge disappointment. For me a reason for one or two stars less.

So beautiful and realistic i loved the textures and the water is amazing, the mounds can be a bit prim heavy when stretched, but it's well worth it , we are re doing our Sim for Fall and made a small river on one side along our home, it looks awesome and i love the sounds of the brook, thank you for making such a fun and easy river kit, I'm so happy with this Item =))
