Absolutely LOVE it ! I had the single forest version before, BUT this is so much better & so many scenes / settings to choose from ! Perfect for my little skybox & best is, only 1 prim , even when made bigger.....worth it all the way ! :))))

I found this VR skybox set quite good value, with its 80+ scenes, easily changed to suit your mood or theme with a simple double click on the box bringing up the menu.

I do have some criticisms. Firstly, for some unknown reason, the scenes are labelled differently in the skybox menu than they have been on MP. Naming themes Forest, Beach 1,2, 3 etc is not immediately conducive to remembering what they are.

Secondly, not all the ‘A’ sides of the box are facing in the same direction, so the favoured view, if you were to permanently build inside the box, is not always in front of you. Also, although the floor is trafficable, a lot of the scenes are not ideally viewed from that level - some are, some are not. Seeing the corners of the box at the horizon from this level is not ideal in order to ’suspend disbelief’ and feels quite claustrophobic

Typically most of the scenes favour a viewing position well above the box floor level. This is not really ideal for creating a build that blends with the floor textures. While this did change my mind about permanently building within the virtual reality, deciding instead to place a small platform (in my case a bed) at the ideal height, I felt it wasn’t worth docking a star over, as this is more than likely a generic failing of all skyboxes.

The included ambient sound loop of bird song and nature is generally pleasing, except for the blow fly, which although is (thankfully) relatively intermittent, it sounds very loud and close, and is really quite annoying. I seriously wish this sound had not been included in the loop by the creator.

All in all however, I am pleased with this purchase. It is probably one of the best VR systems I’ve seen in SL. I use it at the maximum size and there is no noticeable drop off in textural detail. And it was fortunately quite easy to black out the prominent ‘TaraFab’ advertising signage on the outside of the box.
