Consists of 6 giant sculpty prims animated(no particle gen time) with animated textures, very smooth looking natural fog better than most particle fog in movement and subtlelty, no particles are involved at all, covers a circular area of little over 40x40x2m(uses giant prims), swirls around in a realistic fashion. looks good by both day and night. since there no particles involved there no particle generation time involved so it looks good from the start.
NB : apologies to all who bought when the permissions were wrong. should finally have copy mods (no modify as it uses mega prims) - not sure what was going on with permissions, but should be all sorted now
• No Transfer, No Modify, COPY allowed, make as many as you need on your land.
nb : because this fog uses mega prims it cannot be resized, only positioned and rotated etc and this should be done with edit window and all objects selected. Also certain environment settings can cause the fog to look burnt out, certainly the default preset setting from within advanced sky editor looks burnt out though region default looks fine, so its worth checking out your environment setting if it looks burnt out in anyway.

cant follow contours of land etc, but has some depth so can be positioned to work with hollows and dips etc, but on flat ground with a few bumps is very realistic, could bespoke manufacture for a higher price one to go on a curved hilltop etc or different sizes IM in game if required.

good mist BUT NO COPY/MOD!
The mist is great, but it's still no copy/mod which makes the use limited. A misrepresentation by the maker. All purchasers should get correct perm updates or a percentage of the cost back, since this is more costly than mist with permissions. Because of being mislead, spending 499 Lindens, and not being able to copy or mod it, I cannot give it more than one star, even though the mist is great. It's like having a Ferrari that doesn't go out of first gear. You can drive it, it's awesome, but can't take it anywhere :(
Description Wrong
It says in the description that this item is copy...but it's only transfer. I think the maker miss-marked it and hasn't read any of these reviews to fix it.
Looks good though. I like it, but it's a same it's the way it is.

I'm having a hard time believing that I just spent 500L for this, not only is it no permissions, but it doesn't really hold to scrutiny against your own handiwork with a little bit of time spent. I bought this because I was feeling lazy, and paid for that mistake, this is definitely a 'buyer beware' item.
Very well done
The fog is well done. But to pay $500L for a no perm item is a bit steep. I wouldn't mind if it was 200-250 but I won't buy multiple copies not matter how good it is.
I'd pay through the nose for a copy version of this. It's very good, realistic looking, zero lag. Only downside is the no-copy.
An extremelly impressive fog effect, without any of the lag associated with particle-based fog. Perhaps a touch expensive for a no-copy item, as others have commented, but worth the money if you want realistic, animated fog that doesn't bring your viewer to a standstill.
