I have GOT to say bravo to the creator of this item! The instructions are simple and straightforward and though I was totally frustrated at first due to my being a total noob at sculping I was very shortly running with it and designing sculpt after sculpt I wanted and could never find! Take it from someone who KNEW she'd never be able to sculpt. This machine is well worth your time, money and effort!

This is a top quality, well executed product that is quite powerful, yet well laid out. Not only does it perform excellently, it also is designed with high production values. There are very few products that I am completely satisfied with, and fewer that exceed my expectations. The Sculpt Studio is one of them! Plus, the customer service is top notch, and my turnaround on questions has been consistently quick. In addition, the free user classes show that the designer maintains his commitment to quality. I have watched this tool for months now unable to decide if it was worth not only the $$ but also the effort and time to learn yet another new software for SL. Mixed reviews also made me hesitate. Plus knowing how laggy SL has been I really doubted this would be much worth the effort. I was wrong to doubt. I am glad I finally bought it and tried it out. I had it up and running in less than an hour with no problems and no major confusion/frustration. It is an awesome tool and I wish everyone could have a chance to try it out for themselves. If there had been a free demo of this, and I would have tried it, it would have been mine months ago! It is more fun than Sculpty Paint and Blender put together. I must add to my review: the support and classes for this program are more than excellent. My first day of classes (Sunday) provided me with instruction, demonstrations, and techniques that were outstanding. This is even better than I formerly believed!!! If you make sculpties, or want to, you would be cheating yourself if you did not get this product. The classes alone are worth more than what you will pay for this software/product.

Even though I had bought an early version of this, I hadn't used it much because it was very large and unwieldy for me. HOWEVER, recently, I started seeing these really well made sculpties. I was especially impressed with ones where the precision was quite remarkable. I had been trying to do that in my 3D program with limited success. In each case, the result had come from Sculpt Studio. I took out my Sculpt Studio and found there had been a few updates. The tool has become quite robust and very user-friendly (take time to learn the HUD). I also found out there were about to be "office hours" where TheBlack Box would answer questions. I attended my first 3 weeks ago and plan to attend every one I can. Thanks to some friends using SS and the office hours, I was up and running and making sculpts I had really wanted to do. I highly recommend this inworld tool It is quite advantageous to build around things inworld, as one example. While you need to upload the resulting TGA sculpt texture, there are programs like SculptyPaint and Sculpty Space that will allow you to see a dimensional preview of your sculpt to see if you need to modify anything. There is also a support group, called "Sweet Sculpties" that is very helpful as well. All in all, I am very pleased and have recommended this to more than a few people.

I can't thank you enough for making this tool... the best in sl sculptie tool, for sure! I feel like the price i paid is nothing comparing to the value I got. I tried so many sculptie tools, and this one is like a jewel in the sea of crap :) Very smart studio and very intuitive to work with - everything you need to work is there! What is very nice is that the author is constantly working on new features and inproving the studio - and updates come on time and free. I would defenitely recommend this studio (and this one only) to any serious designer - you cannot do without it in sl nowdays!
