Sculpt Studio and Mesh Studio are in-world content creation tools, with additional web-based components.
They help SL content creators to bridge the gap between in-world building and the creation of Sculpts and Meshes.
The best way to learn about Sculpt Studio and/or Mesh Studio is by asking friends who already have experience. There are a lot of us in SL. If you need to find such a friend first, please visit our (very large) official support groups listed below.

See item in Second LifeI made the mistake of buying other sculptie tools on slexchange before sculpt studios mainly because I was tempted by cheaper prices and in the end it wasnt cheaper because here I am after spending a small fortune LOL.There are other programs very similar to sculpt studio but the extra features sculpt studio has like auto adjusting slices , scaling from one slice to another and adjusting all slices in between automaticly or automaticly creating curves between slices will save you hours of time .The whole package is well put together and with my existing sculptie knowledge it only took me a couple of hours to learn .This is definatly the best inworld sculptie tool and a must for all serious builders .
A very good tool... takes some time to understand.. but then it really gives you a great creative range. Even somebody with two left hands can make decent sculpties with this.
It took me 1/2 a day to get to grips with the way this works - and I got the update to Version 3.1 a few days later ... very precise results, sophisticated in design, relatively simple to use, being constantly improved, lots of options for controlling and saving starting shapes and finished product and the improvements from the version I bought to the next were fantastic ... and free :) ... well done. 3D maths nerds need never touch a prim haha ... and its fun to watch the slices rez and elegantly move into position too :)
I've used Maya to create sculpt maps for SL previously and have to say, in my opinion, this tool wins hands down :)
The only thing I don't like about it is having to upload an image and pay L$10 every time I want to check the results. I don't want to spend my second life in beta just because I'm using this thing (it goes without saying that I'm using it a lot :)) and the 'preview' option in the SL client doesn't display poles correctly, or cam on all 3 planes .... *sigh* But if its in any way possible, I'm sure some solution will be found to this issue, because I know for a fact the maker is on the case :) I don't know if its easy or possible, but some kind of offsite results viewer would be very handy :)

Bit more complex to use than I expected. Not sure if I have grasped how it all works yet.
this is an AWESOME product, altho i agree the documentation needs some work. hmm, want some help with that?
if you have had any experience with sculpties and slices, this is TOTALLY the tool for you. i personally found the best part to be the texturing ideas and howto! that was one of the reasons i never bothered with sculpties. now, WATCH OUT!

Very happy with this purchase. Does exactly what it says and the customer service is outstanding. Great potential for getting close to, if not exactly, what you need. Just takes practice! Highly recommended over competitors!!
