Or, at least, you will be, once you buy the Security Camera Kit from Gentek. This kit includes 3 camera styles:
- Older box/bullet style
- All-weather dome/"PTZ" style with 2 different mounting brackets and a no bracket option
- Covert, silent indoor style
... as well as a comfortable, detailed desk and our intuitive HUD system. All items included are Copy, Modify, and NoTransfer objects, and scripts are NoModify. The included HUD is Transfer to allow other people to use the desk.
Installation is simple - rez cameras practically anywhere and rez a desk. Optionally, set individual camera IDs and groups for ease of use. To allow access to someone else, edit the _access notecard. That's it! No complicated configurations - rez and go. Rez as many as you like, too - they're 1 prim each!
Plus, no other camera in-game offers REMOTE VIEWING with PAN/TILT ROTATION CONTROL! You read that right - not only can you look through any of your cameras, you can CONTROL them using your arrow keys. Switch between cameras using our intuitive HUD that shows all of your cameras and allows you to select any of them individually. Save/recall the default rotation and watch your camera move by itself.

Yes, folks this has everything you need to monitor your property. This is efficiently scripted, this is no prop like everyone else's security cameras. the cameras move and make sound. very low lag, easy to use interface. Highly recommended.

Let me be clear, in order for this to work, you need to adjust your camera settings in your viewer so your camera can move far distances, otherwise your camera is going to spin around into an awkward direction. Anyhow, this camera kit is super cool and there isn't anything else like it on the marketplace. I have a large area that I need to monitor when it comes to not only my employees to make sure they're doing what they're told, but sometimes we do get attacked by particle greifers and I can simply monitor where they are at and ban them from afar so they can't crash me. This camera kit is also good for people suspicious about malicious behavior on your sim, watching over the little ones, RLV users & a whole bunch of other possibilities. It even inspired me to make signage to compliment the cameras! Will be purchasing from the seller again.

Bit overpriced for what it is but still a great system, however you need to be estate manager if ur cameras are deployed in skyboxes at different heights of a sim as the ur own camera wont be able to reach the cameras view, but if you do then its perfect, has noise when u move cameras about which is neat

Wow, lots of fun! Installing the desk and the cams was very easy. They look very realistic too, and operating is breeze. It is possible to sort the cameras in groups and give them unique names so you can organize them. As i said: lots of fun!
