This security Orb can be used to protect your land or just to track visitors to your land or shop, and/or to IM you when someone enter your house/shop

Can be configured to send IM when new avatar is detected and to store in a list, or just to store visitors in a list for a later review. Can eject intruders from your land or can send home any unwanted visitor.
Works on rented or owned land and is the perfect choice for your skybox.
Menu configurable warning and eject time, from 1 to 90 seconds and detection range from 1 to 96m

Scan distance can be setup from 0 to 96m.
Configurable working mode, can be operated by your group, by owner or by any avatar in admins notecard.
Can work in Group mode, people in same group as the orb will not be ejected, or simply add your friends to whitelist.
Orb commands:
visits - show visitors list
im on - set notifications by IM to on
im off - set notifications by IM to off
reset - reset the orb to default values
status - show Security Orb actual settings
Range+10 - increase detection range with 10m
Range -10 -decrease detection range with 10m
Timer n seconds - intruders will be warned and ejected after n seconds
hide orb - hide security orb
show orb - show security orb
Eject ON - users not on whitelist will be ejected
Eject OFF - visitors will be just registered
TP Home - intruders will be sent home
Group ON - users wearing same group as the orb group and users in whitelist will not be ejected
Group OFF - only users on whitelist will be allowed if EJECT is set to ON
Show Whitelist - display users on whitelist
Show Admins - show users who can operate the orbs

pity its no copy but works perfect on the land and the note card explains good how to make it work.
Not that good of a buy
I cannot get the white-list to update, even after editing the notecard. Always have to reset everything if you change one thing. I have a free orb that does a better job.
Does the job
I have another only slightly more expensive orb for my sim and wanted a cheaper one just to secure my house on the sim. This orb does just that, but I can't say it is even nearly as flexible as the other one. I have one or two niggles. One is that every time you alter the status, or show a list, this is shown in Local Chat and everyone around can see what the status is and what you are doing. Not private.
The other is that you need to Edit the notecard to add or remove names ... then reset. The same applies to adding/removing admins. This resets all the other preferences such as Range, Timer etc ...which in turn need to be reset again. Fiddly. Would make it a lot easier to have a pop up menu each time someone comes in range so that you can select Add to whitelist, admin, eject etc.
The instructions could be a little more explicit too. It doesn't indicate particular interactions between the menu buttons. For example, regardless of the mode, Eject must be set ON or OFF. Once set it works fine. Hopefully I won't need to add/remove too many times. I think the price is fair for what you get.
