Note: Please make sure you detach any shoe clothing layer you may have on your avatar before using these skates. They are rigged to deform with the foot shape so if you have a high heel foot shape on, it will make the skates look distorted. If they do not look like they do in the picture when you attach them, this is most likely the cause of the problem.
** Super Ice Skates (2014) By Abranimations **
This is a complete overhaul of our popular Ice Skates. These new skates have been completely rebuilt with mesh, include lots of texture and customization options, new mocap animations, redesigned scripts and much more.
To use the skates right click on them in your inventory and select 'Wear'. They are rigged mesh so they will resize automatically to fit your feet. PLEASE NOTE: Because they are rigged, you cannot adjust the size and position after this as you would with prim shoes. However if you adjust the size and shape of your feet for your avatar shape it will be reflected on your skates.
To hide your regular avatar feet so they do not poke through attach the included alpha layer called 'skates alpha'
THE TRICK / CUSTOMISATION HUD
The hud features buttons for 9 trick moves. These are new animations created in our motion capture studio. The HUD also features an options button that will display a new customization page. From this page you can pick one of 9 boot textures and customize the lace color. You can also turn on and off the 'beginners wobble' animation if you want to look like a more experienced skater.
COLLISIONS
If you collide with another avatar while wearing the skates it will cause you to loose your balance and possibly fall over depending on the collision speed. Likewise if a snowball hits you it can knock you over.
SNOWBALLS
Included with the skate is a snowball you can throw at other avatars.
RAMPS
You can create ramps that the skates will respond to by jumping from regular prims by renaming them to one of the following ...

They each result in varying heights.

Not Too Happy!
Have not been able to get the skates to rez properly or fit very well. Not sure if these skates work well with a TD avi. Too bad, there are other things I would like to get from this shop but hesitant to do so since first purchase of the skates not a pleasure.
Fit on these gets a little off
These don't appear to fit all feet or shapes; when working with the sliders the skates appear to be overextended at the toe. attempted to make an adjustment to the width of the foot with the slider control and made it look even worse, they do differ from what the images shows them to be. I think the animations are great as always from abranimations just wish the time would have been spent on the skates.
This is hilarious!
SOOO much fun! Took me a minute to realize you have to double tap the arrow key to start the skating animation. But once I got going, WHEEEEEEEE! I'm going to be skating and laughing all night. Be sure to take your footshape off... that can cause it to stretch out funny. Skates are perfect. Thanks so much to my delightful friend that sent these to me as a gift. :)
