Great build quality, features and product support. However there is almost a total lack of Documentation, thus requiring you to use the product support.
I got a defective product delivery from the Marketplace and the CSR was quick to help with a redelivery. While I was speaking to her, other issues came to mind...
PROs:
Customer Service is very good (not from the creator, but from the CSR, the creator never answered my IMs).
Extensive Features (these features, almost by definition make the product complex, that coupled with the near absence of documentation can be frustrating).
Build quality is excellent.
CONs:
The INFO notecard is nearly void of any real help.
The HUD is complex.
It is not Bento (not a requirement, but might be something you care about).
It might help if you know the background I am writing from. I've been an application developer for > 40 years with backgrounds in CAD/CAM, AutoDesk & Windows applications. I've been a content creator in SL for 8 years.
I spent > an hour trying to figure out how to save a skin color to a "memory position" and restore it to the ears. When I got frustrated and finally reached out to the CSR for help she decided to write me a notecard. It said the HUD was simple and intuitive:
Intuitive?: "Save it clicking on the little triangle near color pick. There are 6 places. To use what you saved just click on the dot near the triangle."
I suggested that this new notecard really should be in the product delivery folder and was told: "we have never had problem with it. but for people that need more help [like me?] I'm here to help."
The CSR works very hard, but her job would be greatly eased (and customers less frustrated) with some proper documentation. The suggestion to include the color save/restore help notecard was not accepted.
Had there been concise documentation this would have been easily a 5-star review.
