Sweet Thing. Demon Hooves (Maitreya, Legacy, Hourglass, Isis, Freya) UPDATED FOR LEGACY F! Perfect for demon, succubus..

I love everything about the look of these legs: textures are amazing, fully mod, fantastic fit on all the bodies it's made for, and the mesh is the most accurate horse-shaped leg on the market in my opinion. My only gripe is the rigging of the hoof up to the ankle. Unlike most rigged digitigrade legs where only the hoof or paw (basically the animal's toe) is rigged to the SL skeleton's foot bone, the entire bottom segment of these legs (the actual plantigrade part of the animal leg) is lightly weighted to the foot bone, so standing animations appear way more sliding-around on the ground as if the hooves can't stay planted on the ground. Even the best idle stand animations that have the feet planted firmly in place, you will see some sliding around because of the way these are rigged. And the hooves while doing ground-sit animations go below ground (or whatever prim you're siting on) so hover height adjustment is necessary if you don't want your hooves going through the floor.

I'll admit it is a really, really clever and unique way to rig the leg and it does bend nicely so that all the joints move and look more "realistic", but I just want to warn others about the sliding around and going through the floor when sitting. If these were rigged like most digitigrade legs on the market, they'd be a for sure 5-stars from me! So, if you can deal with a little slidey-slide, I highly recommend these!

Some of the better hooves I've seen on the market. They look good with the hourglass body. I'm glad they are mod because I had to make them less shiny so they would blend right with my skin.

I own a ridiculous number of mesh hooves / faun-legs I've found in SL, and these are hands-down my favourite. Other pairs either look really thick/muscley/masculine; end below the knee with alpha-fades that don't allow for applier use; make my legs generally look broken; and/or don't have many colour options. These hooves have none of those issues! They come with 22 textures in the HUD, a choice between equine & cloven versions, don't require appliers, and the design is elegant and anatomically-awesome. Perfect.

The avatar I was intending to use these for utilizes a near paper white skin, so color matching was possibly going to be a problem. I tried the DEMO, I recommend the same to anyone else. That's why it's there! If it doesn't match your aesthetics, wasn't thick enough, didn't look right to you... than you didn't spend your lindens on something you didn't like! BUT! rant over, back to the review!

The hud (which is also fully functional AND included in the demo) gives you 22 textures to choose from between the hooves and the legs. The legs and hooves themselves are also moddable… so need to tint a bit to color match? YOU CAN! You can also switch between equine hooves and cloven hooves (just like the ad says!) Moral of the story- even with paper white skin, the textures worked for me!

This is the nearest to a seamless hooved leg to fit my body that I've come across. I use belleza freya and had zero issues with fitting. I would recommend these over and OVER again.
