A: There are several expensive pose stand, and some rather poor quality ones I’ve seen. I strongly believe that a good quality pose stand should be available to absolutely everyone in SL.

The VERY BEST (and what can you say about the price huh?) In the metaverse. buy, Buy, BUY!
One of the best pose stands you can get.
It is extremely rare to find someone who does something for the betterment of humanity as a whole. Someone who could easily charge a lot more for massive profits, but releases it basically for free and then takes it a step further by releasing it in a way that allows you to easily just send it to friends.
This is one of those items.
While I cannot vouch for pose stands that costs somewhere in the L$1500+ range, what I can say is that this pose stand has solved every need I've ever had for a pose stand to the point to where I, and many of my friends, have never had to look for another one. It has various poses and can even animate your avatar so you can see how what you're working on will look while you're in motion.
I tend to have OCD when it comes to measurements, and cannot stand the neck gaps. This lets you put your head into basically all the NATURAL viewing angles, even looking straight up, which would easily show you if there are any neck gaps.
One of the best ways I've found to test demo clothes is to put the pose stand in the walking animation, then see if clothing has any major rigging issues. The stand has saved me more money than I care to admit by allowing me to see exactly how some rigged clothing moves in certain ways.
