The TWI Timber Wolf is a high quality rigged mesh quadruped animal avatar for roleplay or just plain wolf lovers!

***The price is 300L cheaper at our in-world store! Click "Visit the Store" under the buy button to get a landmark!

***Bento updated: As of April 12th 2017, the avatar is updated with Bento bone animation! This means face, tail, ears, and tongue all animate smoothly with animation instead of separate mesh frames! Less lag, more smooth motion, and more detailed lip motion when talking! The old pre-bento parts are still included if you need them for any reason, though.

First, keep in mind:
*This avatar is 100% Mesh. It requires a mesh-enabled viewer to see the avatar inworld!
**There can be no refund for copy no-transfer products! We can redeliver to you (and only you, not another account!) if you lose your copy however.

----A variety of facial expressions for eyes, ears, muzzle, tongue and tail, as well as head angle & pupil dilation, allow for unprecedented variety in personality and expression. The head is able to look around at your camera target as well, which multiplies the amount of looks and faces you can achieve!

----An assortment of gesture actions complements the basic overrides. Four dances, four attack actions, dig, bark, howls, and scratching, as well as an assortment of sleep, lay & sit poses. Also, partial animations for the paws, whining and growling, panting, sniffing, stretching and idle lookaround/fidgeting actions. The Action HUD has buttons for 38 of the most common & useful actions, and an expandable paged list with 10 more included actions and any additional 3rd party/custom actions you may add over your life as a wolf.

----Mesh avatars may be considered less customizable than older avatars, but this is not the case with the TWI Timber Wolf! Split into 8 pieces to allow combination with other heads, legs, ears, or tails, and further split into separately colorable & texturable faces for an incredible variety of markings choices right out of the box. 5 unique hand painted base/body textures are included (gray, brown, rust, black and white), and 10 themed markings sets (wolf, husky, shepherd, 2 fade/gradient patterns, a subtle highlight pattern, moons, tribal designs, stars, and hearts) are also included & applied through the Customization HUD.

In addition to texture customization, the shape of the wolf can be easily adjusted with the standard appearance shape sliders! 5 shapes are included, from small and lean, to tall, fat, and huge & bulky. It cannot be resized to giant proportions without mods or down to tiny puppy size, but it can cover about the range of sizes one would expect of a natural adult wolf.

----UV maps & sample textures for modders are in the user manual, and a secure convenient applier-kit is included in the "Extras" box. Load your custom textures into the applier, and others can use it to apply texture once to their avatar directly, or load it into their HUD for more detailed part-by-part customization!

****REMINDER: The price is 300L cheaper at our in-world store, to account for Marketplace fees. Click "Visit the Store" under the buy button to get a landmark!

Absolutely awesome! Best quad Av out there. Only 2 gripes, 1 is I would LOVE a Head Overrider so my head doesn't follow my mouse and 2 is When I sit, my tail goes straight down into the ground/floor.
Other than those two small issues it is PERFECT.

Would also like to see a Puppy Av or Mod.

Well done guys/gals!! :D

I'm really impressed with the animation on this avatar, because that can make or break it for me. They're very realistic and there's a good selection of fun animations in there too. The model and texturing is pretty great too. I'd totally recommend this avatar to those that are looking for a well made feral avatar.

All i could ask for is a Head overrider to keep the wolf from jerking its head around when i move my mouse.

best feral avatar i've ever owned

So let me just say this: I've been playing second life since 2006, and i've been a really big fan of feral avatars. I've owned plenty by all sorts of creators. Grendel's Children, Werehouse, Lost Ferals, TWI, etc etc. TWI, with their sculpted avs, were the best sculpted ferals i've seen. They looked and animated far better than any previously, had really great customization features, and were fully moddable. They were my favorite when I came across them and got their fox, and, eventually their cougar.

So It's easy to see i was excited when i heard about their mesh wolf. And i will say this, and i fully mean it: TWI's mesh wolf is the /best/ feral av i've ever purchased in during my 8 years of second life.
The look of the avatar is gorgeous. It's exactly how i wanted a wolf av to look, but couldn't find because second life was limited to such primitive tools. (sculpts, prims). Everything about it is customizeable and does it in the most seamless, painless way. It's pretty user friendly compared to many things. You can even customize all the expressions in your poses on the hud, change the sounds, or even add your own in. I actually get anxious when i hear aggressive dog noises, and removing them was really easy.

It mods to a load of diff dog breeds pretty well. Currently an australian shepard and it looks /really/ good.

So yeah. If you like canines, i highly recommend this. It rules. Also, the people who worked on the av are /rrreaaallly/ nice people and have been really pleasant to interact with!
