this set made part of a huge landscaping project and these plants were very helpful, great textures and options!
Perfect for the beach!
I love this tropical plants pack, I am also so happy for the ability to mod them and rip em apart and place them around. :D
Fantastic!
Interspersed between palm trees, these plants cover a multitude of things I don't want to see, i.e., neighboring junk, glowing green parcel lines, and broken shadows from the palm trees where the uneven land comes through. You can rezz a ton of them, and the textures are very nice quality. Well worth the price.
Perfect.
I bought this pack about 8 months ago and since then they've become my go to for just about any outdoor scene I build for blog posts. The Alligator Apple Bushes and the Zingiberaceae are great for ground filler regardless of whether or not it's a tropical scene. They're very photogenic. The Bamboo Palms are lovely but keep in mind that because the fronds are on the delicate side, you don't want to make them too large otherwise they disappear when you zoom out a bit.
poor LOD behavior
These all look great, but only close up. They disappear entirely if I pan out, long before other bushes, shrubs, trees begin to change.
OK, .5 LI per plant is low. But I'd have been a whole lot happier if each plant was 1 or 2 LI, and held up at better distances. A design trade-off I know about with mesh, but I am afraid the choice made here favored low LI too much.
