The M4 Bakemono head is a fuzzy new addition to the M4 family of heads.
2021/6/30 - Added LL/normie male neck connection support.
- Things to know -
The M4 Bakemono head is compatible with eye and eyelash textures of other M4 and M3 anime heads.
It is not cross compatible with skins made for the M4 Chipmunk head.
The 4 default skins it comes with are compatible with 4 of the Kemono body skins as well as the unofficial default kemono skin ports to normie bodies.
The head comes in 2 different shapes, long snout and short snout.
The head is compatible with most Rigged mesh hairs.
It includes necks for a seamless join with the kemono body and a somewhat seamless join with the LL/normie bodies(Belleza and such).
The necks for the Avatar 2.0 and Rikugou are also included but they do not come with skin textures since those bodies never had default Kemono skins made for them, you will find these necks in the bonus item box.
The head has an option to hide the snout and instructions of how to use it for mod creators that would want to make different snouts for it.
New to M4 series, you can now adjust both eye directions independently to do a derpy or a cross eyed look, you can do it by selecting/deselecting the left or the right eye in the eye page of the HUD and than use the eye movement arrows on the main page.

Really good, but super small!
Too small in fact! When worn at 75% or higher heights your head is absolutely miniscule.
If this head could scale upto 2x it's natural max size, it would be perfect. [Maybe even 3 times? I'm unsure. It's unbeleivably tiny on pretty much all of my bodies.]
Consider that a warning for anyone that's not making a short avatar/using a very petite form. It will not play nice at larger sizes what so ever. You'll look like your head was boiled and salted to shrink it.
No idea how to convert it to BOM
I bought all these mods that expect me to use BOM but this head doesn't look like it's BOM so now I'm just really confused and feel like i wasted my money.
I think I need the uv of this head
Can anyone tell me where the uv of this head is? I need to change the skin on this head.
Great head but. . . We need skins and not for the Kemono Body
It would be nice if there were some default universal skins for other bodies. Maitreya, Belleza, Etc
We live in a environment where BoM can be applied to most if not all skins. Yet the Bakemono from a default perspective expects you to buy into a Kemono body. Or you buy into a 3rd party mod that is questionable at most.
These heads would be 30x better if there were some default Bom Skins for them just like how the Bakemono head comes with 4 skins as well as the ability to recolor them.
I think it's something to consider. If customers were able to buy a Bakemono head that came with some BoM skins PG that would work for other bodies and not just Kemono. I think people would be a lot happier with the product. Rather than fumbling around having to reach out to other parties on overpriced commissions. Finding mods for the head that will work with a specific avatar body that you've used for a couple years and a wider range of clothes. That isn't the Kemono.
People who invested into the Kemono during it's original release have moved on to other bodies Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, Kupra, etc. It's time skin and texture creators to meet in the middle and provide what we want.
I won't say people don't use Kemono's its not what I meant by my last statement. What I mean is if you look around in SL you'll rarely see a Kemono body being used actively. And its time to cater to those who are using other bodies that isn't the Kemono.
BoM skins typically can solve this easily, but the hard part is finding bom skins that match the heads, in this case the Bakemono head.
