The Union Micro Server Rack is a convenient and semi-secure place to keep your servers in Second Life. The server rack comes as a single linked object so you don't have to separately position the door of it. The configuration notecard allows you to specify a list of people that are allowed to open and close the door - ONLY people on this list have access to the door - not even the owner can get around this without having their name inside of the notecard. What does this mean? It means you can buy this and copy it as many times as you want and make a data center and your customers won't have to worry about you having access to their racks. The server rack also has an optional ambient sound that can be toggled on and off. Also included is a copiable prim that has a server texture on it - you can use this to dress up the inside of your server rack if it's looking a little empty! The server rack is modifiable so you can adjust textures and size to your liking.

The rack is great to have your servers in a nice and safe place!
Good textures - good sound. Does what it advertises (and if it does stop functioning, you can reset the scripts in an emergency). A little on the high side of reasonably price.
Could be inproved w/an auto-close option to automatically close the door after x amount of time.
It worked for 3 days, but now it doesn't function....door doesn't open at all, not even with avatar names on Config Note Card......
Simple design, easy to set up, easy to modify. I think this does a good job of what it was designed to do... and with mod/copy, it's priced right too.
