A Project Bento Enabled Viewer is Required!

With 48 Animations included, this tail responds to your actions as an Avatar AO would!

Compatibility with Other Products Not Guaranteed unless Specified Otherwise.

The Vixen Tail is Rigged Mesh which means that it cannot be resized or repositioned (except for HUD driven repositioning) so please remember to try the Demo Version first.

Included built into the HUD are several colored and tintable textures so that you can customize to your liking!

Also included are links to texture and reference files which can be used to make your own textures. This set also includes a built-in texture application system and development kit so that you can easily include them as part of your avatar mods!

As an added bonus, we have included a Soccer Ball as well as a Water Sphere to be used with the Vixen Tail's "Hold Object" Mode! (Though any object or non-rigged mesh you think would fit attached to your Tail Tip attach point will work just as well!)

This tail is as good as it gets. It took me literally 15 minutes to adapt my original tail's texture (7 part segmented flexi tail) to this tail and it worked out so much better than I expected. There is no way I could give this product anything else than 5 stars! If you're looking for a bento tail, look no further!

If I could give this more stars I would

Seriously, I hate to sound like I'm exaggerating but this is probably one of the best tails in SL. It's fully animated, goes great with my AO, easy to tint, and it's even got different versions (my favorite being the mega fluff). I know 525L may seem a little steep but when I tried the demo, I knew I had to have it, and I have zero regrets. It fits the Bifrost, Kobold, and Kemono with little to no editing needed and I absolutely love it. I'm literally updating all of my fox avis with this tail XD I love it so much that I can't even look at my old tails the same. If you've got the L to spare then I would highly recommend buying it. This is one of the many reasons I upgraded to Bento.

I'm so glad to finally find a good tail. i've been looking for a while now for one that isn't too thin or isn't a pain to match, but this one was really simple to work with. so glad you've provided a grey texture because white was a little too light for the grey on me and black was a little too dark for the black on me. the balls provided are a little bonus and the water ball even has physics! water physics people! we are in the advanced age!

This is the closest I've seen to an actual 'fluffy' mesh tail - others have used alpha blend textures and shaded poorly under projection lights, or they have been made of cone spikes and had a terrible tinsel-like look. This one's spikey in a toony way and does the effect quite well :)

Only problem with it is the cel-shaded appearance when using textures that stripe along the tail (skunks etc), and to a lesser extent with flat colours - thought it was worth noting, though doesn't affect me. Looks great as a fox tail or with raccoon or red panda type stripes.

I like that the texture HUD allows rotating textures, saves me having to make my own white-to-black fur texture!

Replacing a KZK Fox V4 tail with this!

Thank you for providing a demo!

Great product. Animations need a small edit, though.

While all other praise for this product is certainly well deserved, there are two small issues.

One is with the tail's animations overriding all hand positions such that hands are constantly spanned outward in default rig posture. It's as though the animation priority is maxed out on all the included animations, and are affecting other parts they shouldn't be. Suppose this isn't an issue for most 'pawed' characters, but for those of us using base hands, this is a bit odd. I've tracked the problem down to the positioning animations (POSy##z##) being the culprit. All other animations seem to not have the same issue.

Second, the 'sit' animation is absolute. In other words, it doesn't give way for objects which provide their own animations (such as pose stands). Bit of a bother having to manually enable/disable the sit animation via HUD so often. At the very least, a chat command for this purpose would be nice.

Those are really my only two issues with it. Other than that is is most certainly worth the buy. Even with these two issues, if Vixten ever makes a similar tail for reptilian avatars, I'd totally nab that one, too!
