Japanese Obon Lanterns
These are lanterns I made for the Obon Festival Celebration at my friend DanteOsaka Deschanel's Shin Tao Haiku Retreat. They are decorated with textures featuring various Zen and Tibetan Buddhist iconography.
They are free to copy and have full mod/copy/trans permissions. Feel free to share them with your friends and/or enemies but please do not sell them. These should remain free to everyone.
In the package are over 12 hanging lanterns with Buddhist iconographic designs plus several floating lanterns for placing on streams. A frame and hanging pole come with the hanging lanterns. They were specifically designed for the Obon Festival but can be used as lighting and decor around your home and garden. I use the lanterns for the entrance to my meditation hut.
How to use:
- Click on the lanterns to light the candle;
- Click again to turn off.
Enjoy!
With peace, love and respect,

Are you KIDDING me? Completely FREE? These are the prettiest lanterns I have seen YET in Second Life and they are FREE!!!
I highly recommend for garden parties, weddings, receptions, outdoor parties - there are hanging AND floating lanterns! WOW!!!!
These are highly well made lamps that are full perms to shape them how you like. The lighting already given in the lamps are specially great if you stick them inside a small hut as it lights up the room nicely if it's dark outside. You can't go wrong with this.
beautiful work! and a wonderful look to my home!
great price
Thanks for your generosity in sharing these with the rest of SL - I love mine! :)
