Lethal Karma (Formally Karma Weapons) is based on the mad works of Botan. Scripts, Weapons, Huds, Companions, Shapes and Poses all can be found here. I've stepped away from building weapons exclusively so the name needed to change.
Karma Weapons was founded in 2006 by Botan and her sister Yoko. We had a store at the time and was kind of popular.
Karma Weapons was set on changing the way people fought back in the day. The weapons back then were monstrous, laggy, cheaply detailed, and poorly scripted.
The idea was to create highly detailed models, powerful yet effective scripts, and have more features then any other weapon maker out there. We were going to start with the LOLSBS system, but update it extremely. We had then scrapped that and designed a 100% original script.
I launched the "Surplus" program, a series of guns that were very affordable, still were effective, but didn't have all the details and scripts as the Alpha program. The Surplus Series was made to fund the Alpha program and spread word around about our weapons. In world beta testing was successful, especially among battle sims.
Unfortunately, we lost our store and testing grounds because of the sim owners failure to pay. He hightailed and ran like a coward with everyone's money. The Alpha Series Program then became scraped, and the Surplus Series was all that was left.
After weeding out the other guns and weapons from the Surplus Series, these were the only ones that became successful. Each one was designed with hours of effort, and attention to the slightest of detail.
To today's standards they may not be the best out there, but the idea is still there. They're an affordable reliable set of weapons that should never let you down no matter the situation.
The Alpha Series may be on hold indefinitely, but if circumstances and funding prevails, there might be a chance for it to be restarted and change the way combat is in SL forever...
