Meh...
Sadly, its not as straightforward as advertised. It does not export the friends list. It exports Contact Sets. So, you first need to create a Contact Set, add the friends to that set (20 at a time max) and then locate the local settings file on your PC, copy it back in SL for the tool to export that list. For people who have short list of friends maybe its an option, but totally impractical for people with long friend lists.
Yes, it still works in 2023.
It still works with Firestorm 6.6.14, so disregard the older reviews. However, this is NOT an easy-peasy out of the box solution. Follow the instructions closely, they tell you exactly what you have to do, and if you do that, it works like a charm.
For me, as a developer and rather tech.savy myself, those 290 L$ were mostly a learning fee to find out the clever way the author used to get to the list Firestorm can export to my local harddrive. I'm not regretting the purchase, as it taught me what I needed to know.
For less tech-savy persons, this solution is good. However, again, it is NOT a zero-hassle way. DO READ the instructions! They are good, and you will have success with them.
Be cautious
The output of a list (name:UUID) doesnt work. Worst: no support, no answer to my notecard of complaint
Very useful tool

little fuss list of friends for a notecard, thanks
Usefull
A very usefull tool, i saved a lot of time and was sure to not commit errors manually typing the names.
