Switch yourself on or off with the Private switch. Let others switch you on or off with the Public switch. Scale the button to any size and attach it anywhere on your avatar. (Default is on the back.)

This is really cute for avatars, especially androids/dolls. The off-switch animation overrides my AO so I don't need to worry about turning it off.
It's simple and easy to use, and comes with two versions. Only 10L, it is totally worth it.
Best accessory EVER
Wear this witty little kill switch on your back (or anywhere else you want to put it). When clicked, it switches your avatar off and on. Hilarious fun at parties and just plain old damned clever. I don't know how I ever had fun in SL without it.
