My staves do not contain any spells or combat scripts, except for the particle effects shown. However, all staves can be copied and modified to add your own scripts.

Staff is not modifiable despite what it says
The staff was too big for my female avatar. I bought it thinking I could mod, but it was not modifiable...useless staff for me and waste of my lindens

I bought this Staff and as my avatar is kinda small, the staff was too big for me, i sent an IM to Talevin and he did a smaller one in the same day :D I'm very happy with the purchase.
