The Bulk Object Renamer is the ultimate time-saving tool for builders and creators! Quickly change names or descriptions of multiple objects and linksets simultaneously.
With this tool, you are able to:
• Add a Prefix (prepend/add text to the beginning of each name);
• Add a Suffix (append/add text to the end of each name);
• Find and Replace (find specific text and replace it with new text);
• Remove Text (remove specific text from each name).
You can quickly add color names or variants to your items; quickly add your store name to your prims; rename objects for demos; rename every prim in a linkset; change descriptions; replace text and remove text.

Instructions / How to use?

(1). Drag the script to your object(s):
∟ script A renames single objects or root prims only;
∟ script B renames every prim in a linkset, including root;
(2). Add the "Bulk Object Renamer - HUD (add me)" to yourself;
(3). Choose one (or more) of the options available through the HUD
∟ if you'd like to change the description instead, click the "Description" button on the HUD;
(4). Once you are done with all changes, > do not forget < to click the red "Delete Script" button
∟ this button will automatically remove the script from the contents of all your target objects;
∟ if you skip this step, you will not be able to change your object permissions after;
(5). Detach the HUD or click the "x" button at the top.

I don't know why I found this so late after release but I'm glad I did! Carpal tunnel doesn't make going from object to object simply to copy paste a color name any better, and this HUD does that work for me. It saves me lots of time and wristpain!
It also allows me to have my general title format of the product, and just replace the "COLOR" part.

Absolute Perfection
I'd give this product more stars if I could! This tool is easy to use and so intuitive. I didn't even need to read the manual. Drop your script in, and wear the hud and use whichever button you need. In my case, the Find and Replace option was absolutely invaluable to me. As a creator I have to pack many different objects within my products. Being able to rename my huds to the product name was very important without damaging the entire name.
If you're looking for something that will replace a variable and only that variable in the object name, this is the tool you want!

WORKS LIKE A CHARM
I have always been so stressed about the ammount of vendor boxes I need to rename when a release comes around. I was desperate for a solution tonight when I needed to rename over 40 vendors. My naming system is quite elaborate, and I was able to use the "Find and Replace" function to switch skin names from one to the next, keeping the tone names in tact. I literally screamed at my partner in discord that I can't believed it worked. It simply DID the work for me and saved me about 30 minutes of my life. This product is a MUST HAVE for any creator who works with multiple colorways, bodies, rigs etc and needs to just get that tedious work done FAST. I imagine the other features are more focused for those types of creators, since you can name entire link sets, insert suffix and prefix.
If I could give this a rating higher than 5 stars I would, because this is the first time I have purchased something blindly and been absolutely amazed beyond belief.
