Can-I-Panic another fine Monkey Corp product inspired by Canipanic Maslow of the world famous ~ O ~ Lounge.
This system allows approved users to eject or ban anyone from your parcel or sim at the touch of a button. On being banned or ejected the system will send the bootee a short message in an IM and will also deliver them a notecard which outlines your rules of engagement.
The system can be access using the panic button, or via a universal HUD supplied in the box, one hud will work all Can-I-Panic buttons in SL, but only for people on the access notecard.
If you have multiple parcels on one sim simply place a relay down and hide it, then when someone is banned from one parcel they will automatically be banned from all.
SET UP
1. Rez the Can-I-Panic Button
2. Enter the names of all the people that you wish to grant access to the system into the notecard in thee panic button.
3. Alter the rules of engagement notecard in the button to reflect your parcel rules.
4. If your land is deeded the panic button must be deeded to the same group.
5. If you have separate parcels on the same sim pop a relay in each one, again if the land is deeded, this needs to be deeded to the land group.
6. Pop on a HUD and give them out to everyone on the access list, dont worry you can revoke access at anytime by removing names from the hosts list in the panic button.
Options
on clicking the button you will be given a list of names on the current sim, select one then choose from the following options :
Eject - simply sends the person home and kicks them off the parcel incase they set home to your land.
1HR Ban - Bans the selected avatar for 1 hour
24 HR Ban - bans the selected avatar for 1 day
PERM Ban - bans the selected avatar forever.
NOTE :
it is not possible for anyone on the hosts lists to be banned via this system, this is a safegaurd to stop disgruntled staff banning you from your own land. Approved users can however eject each other, which can be fun at time ; )

Should be 50%+ to kick someone imo
I think it's too easy for a group of trolls to take over a parcel by only requiring 30% of the visitors to kick someone, or everyone else...so it seems like 50% or more should be required to kick someone, but I don't see anywhere or any way to change this setting, so although I think it's a good thing, it should be adjustable for the owner to set the % of visitors to vote kick someone out. I'll gladly update my review if this ever happens, but as it stands I'm unhappy with this system as it is.

I am 1 of 9 owners at a regional combat sim. We needed a tool that would defend against griefers but at the same allow visitors to come into the sim. This wonderful tool fit the need very nicely. My security officers do not need to add a group, it is easy to set up and use. Yep....lindens well spent. Thanks Monkey!!
