Sometimes it's a mystery how those textures line up on those prims! So, I made a texture that shows a nice grid on it to be used for testing purposes. Just apply it to any prim. Once you see how the texture is applied, you can alter you own texture to make it fit!!
Get this free texture and use any way you want. But please be careful!! Obviously, don't apply it to any modifiable prim that you don't the original texture for. You will not be able to get the old texture back!!

i'm still trying to get the hang of using this (with all the different colored sections), as i've used plain grids always to get my textures aligned good, but i can see the use of this is very beneficial to builders.
