This hat looks like a normal somewhat cheesey New Years Eve hat, but click on the Happy New Years design and suddenly it becomes a ball drop hat! a pole appears and a ball drops from the top down as a countdown is shown at the top and on the hat. Some of the hats also have a particles sparkle around the ball and an explosion of particles at 0 as well as a countdown in open chat.
The hat comes in 3 sizes and 2 versions. The regular ones have both particle effects and a countdown. The Quiet ones don't have particles and are silent.
Pick the hat you want and wear it. It will attach to your nose point. You may want to move it up and down for the best fit. Sometimes moving your hair up and down helps too.
After you have it positioned click on the hat to change the ball color and hat color.
Then to activate the ball drop click on the Happy New Year message on the hat.
After the drop has run, you will have to wait 60 seconds to do it again. The drop effect is not a smooth drop but a change to each position as it "drops". If there is very bad lag this may be very choppy, ut still fun.
Only the owner can activate the ball drop, but you can give access to the hat menu to your group or everyone if you want.
