This article is the New release of the MBC Taget HUD (basic & advanced), a scope reticle HUD element, which provides informations on the avatars in your line of sight.
It is definitely more than an update, it's a revolution. By taking advantage of the very last lsl scripting functions, (and a couple of weeks of hard working) some big walls were broken.
The enhancements you will discover are : more efficiency, more abilities, easier and more customization. They came from mixing technology coming from the new radar HUD with the improved target HUD efficiency, and cool suggestions from some users.
1- no more distance limit
The brand new radar engine gets rid of the boring 96m distance limit of the lsl “sensor” function. You will be able to scan every avatar in the sim, whatever the distance.
2- Everyone
When more than one avatar are on the line of sight, the reticle displays a list with any of them.
2- A controller HUD
Wear this HUD to customize the appearance and functionalities of your main reticle HUD.
3- 3rd person view
Turn on or off your HUD out of mouselook, so you can pick up infos and look for avatars while "alt-caming" in the whole sim. (the classic “sensor” did not allow this ability)
4 - customization
Customize the look of your HUD :
• Form
Choose one of the existing reticles or add a new one of your choice.
• Size
Adjust the size of the reticle
• Color
Change the color : choose a standard color enter a custom one.
• Alpha
Adjust the HUD's transparency
• Presets
Save your settings for a quick change of all the parameters
* Permissions :
The reticle HUD is copy only
Controller HUD is copy + mod so you can add custom reticle textures
** Prim count :
The reticle HUD is a 1 prim object
The controller HUD is a 6 prims object
V notes

Nice and helpfull
A very good scope for shooting. The only thing, when pointing at a group of people, the list can be very long on screen.
