Light Control Server/Client System

NEW VERSION 1.1 out! (some minor fixes and additions referring customer ideas...)

this package includes:

1 light control server
3 light clients with different configurations
1 configuration card and the control client script additional
1 day/night detector (additional gift, not needed by the system)

use day/night control
--------------------------
server is watching sl day-night settings and controls lights automatically, this means the lights changes to on at night and back to off at daytime!

control by touch to server
------------------------------------
control as much lights as you want by one server!
click the server to switch all the lamps on or off.

control single lights by touch
-----------------------------------------
if you want to control some lights by touch manually just do it.
click it and it will change from on to off and from off to on.

ATTENTION: this will toggle the light only for max. 60 seconds, thats the interval the server watches the sl daylight settings!
you have to setup the lights configuration card to override server settings permanently for this specific light! (see explanations below)

owner only control

setup the 'ownertouchonly' parameter to 'off' and allow every user switching the lights on/off by touch.

use your own light design
------------------------------------

just create your favorite light.
put the '.configuration' card and the script 'MM - Client Light Control' into the lights content.
change the configuration to your needs... ready.

changing the configuration cards

the configuration cards includes explanations to every configuration parameter.

ATTENTION: please keep your special attention to the communication channel. all client lights and the server has to use an identical channel otherwise the server will not be able to communicate to the lights!

additionally you are able to change other client parameters, f.e.
- scan for sl day/night interval?
- allow owner only to control by touch?
- override sunscan results by touch commands?
- color of light
- intensity of light
- radius of light
- transparency

and the following server parameters:
- scan for day/night?
- allow owner only?

pls notice: the additional parameter 'lightcolor' in SERVER configuration is not activated right now and used by future extensions only! in CLIENT (lights) configuration its fully activated and working perfectly.

simwide light control
-------------------------

this version is limited to simwide light control
this means all lights and the server has to be into the same sim.

what's this 'day or night' thing?

well, just rez it and it will show the actual sl daylight setting (night or day).

remark:
unfortunately this product was unlisted by an unknown error! for this reason its listed new again but all the excellent reviews are lost by this malfunction :-(
