The Multimedia Player has the ability to display both inventory images and webpage media, defaulting to the latter when URLs are provided. The ability to display webpages allows you to display still images, video, and even animated gifs. In addition the player allows up to 12 inventory sounds to be played using a menu. It therefore provides the user with an economical but comprehensive & flexible presentation aid.
The device is a single prim with modify and copy permissions, so can be customised in size & aspect ratio to the circumstances of your presentation. Your commentary can be stored in the Player's inventory, and retrieved via the menu, making a convenient self-contained package with no need to access your inventory during your presentation. A copy of the prepared Player can therefore be kept permanently for future use of the same presentation.
The Player has a zoom feature which allows you to click any part of the screen, and double the scale in that area. Edge controls are used for 'next', 'back', 'auto', and 'menu'. The dialogue menu includes a number of facilities which aid flexibility in presentations. When using internet sources, the URL control bar can be toggled on/off enabling impromptu changes to be made, e.g. by using internet search. It is also possible to rescale such images, and save the chosen scale values for each image. The settings are preserved when the Player is taken into inventory and subsequently rezzed, so it is possible to optimise the whole presentation in advance. It is also possible to toggle between owner/anyone control of the Player, to allow audience participation during question time.

Excellent and very versatile player
I needed a video player to augment an exhibition at my art gallery. It had to be able to play a YouTube, but also be played by anyone visiting the gallery and safely controlled by the listener. It could not interfere with other audio and other gallery visitors. Other players I tried could not do this. This one could. Though a bit complicated, the creator of this product provided excellent support and helped immensely. I recommend this versatile player strongly.

I purchased this item and was wanting to use it in a rez box but at first it was copy mod no transfer. but the scripting was no copy.. i contacted the creator, she got right with me and helped solve the issue. and then i showed her the creation of the rez box she was very friendly and very fast to work with...
