I expected more from your title "REAL waves!"
I was setting up a photo shoot as a pose maker/photographer in SL. I needed some water to swish/swirl in a jetty I made and so I came looking for things of that nature.
I found these, figured they were 99L and couldn't hurt. I was a little anxious due to some of the reviews, but when I got the box and opened it, I was delightfully suprised.
Ok, one, I hate that they are no mod. I'd liked to have been able to color them and make them glow or give off a little light. (Like I said photographer). I also would have liked to have shortened them just a little bit to fit properly and not have waves go way past where I needed it to stop.
Secondly, and most importantly, you say you have "real waves," ok but when the waves go out, there is no retreating wave; there is just one continual incoming surge. Not realisitic like you claim your items are.
However, not bad over all ( =. It's 99L well spent.
Could have been better
The picture makes you think its bigger, and being no mod you cant adjust or stretch it to fit flat shorelines, basically it should have had a big red circle around a small portion of the wave and said with an arrow "You only get this much". Good thing it was L99 because if it was more I would have been more upset.
They look nice, but...
I am wanting to create a surrealistic look to one of my skyboxes. I tried to rez on in them; it sent the waves down. At first I didn't know where it was going; I had to rez them a few times to figure out that they were being dragged down to the land! I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but I figure that it has something to do with the added root prim? Not sure. I just know that they're NOT rezzing in the air. Just FYI.

i had a great experience with my wave purchase. at first i had trouble with rezing my wave but that was a simple sl issue and Antreas was excellent in his customer service.
he gave me all the help i needed and i will certainly be buying more from him in the future.
