put the object you want to rez (object1) and this script into another object (object2) and edit the script so it contains the name of object1.
script then rezzes object1 0.5m above object 2 when an avatar touches object2. edit the coordinates in the script if you want to rez object 1 in a different position.

Yes it does what it says.
This is absolutely a no frills script.
Would be nice to have an option in there so if you click it again, it derezzes the item.
