Sensations Devil Wings Versión 1.04
NOTE: There is also a Demon version of the wings (Sensations Demon Wings). Please check out both before deciding which to buy.
The Sensations Demon Wings are a reimagined version of the classic Sculpted Demon Wings I released in 2009 which have been the most popular demon wings in Second Life since then. I built them from the ground up incorporating all the things people have liked over the years, while adding many new twists you wont find from any other wings around!
These wings are made of mesh, and contain a variety of features:
~Skins with mix/match options:
---30 Membrane sets
---30 Bone sets
---12 Talon sets
~Various jewelry and ribbon options. These options are designed to fit the style of mesh horns and hooves released by us recently.
~Restraint options so someone can "capture" you and chain your wings together, or bind them with bands to restrain flight (using RLV), and preventing you from spreading them open.
~HUD driven with ability to recolor the wings parts and adjusting glow settings for an even more individualized look.
~All textures used are open sourced. That means you can open up the contents of the wings and find FULL PERMISSION texture files, giving you access to edit, alter, and replace the textures with your own modifications.
Ver vídeo »They look great, but the complexity and script count are insane!
If you want to be rendered by any other person using a modern viewer, these wings will likely be the sole things preventing that. Each "Low Prim Impact" wing is about 116k complexity. To put that in perspective, most modern viewers default at 350k complexity before you become a pixel blob to other people. There goes most of your complexity. And as stated previously, the scripts total in at a whopping (And seemingly unnecessary) 1440kb total. The wings look great and are super customizable but you can hardly wear them without being a pain in everyone else's side. They could maybe use a bit of an overhaul or re-evaluation of the scripts.
Love them, really do, but... wow...
Ok, these are great, they are beautiful, customizable, and impressive. BUT, if you are a script mem freak, you may be put off. The hud alone is 1600kb, not a issue as it can be taken off without much usability impact. Both the high and low detail wings, however, are a impressive 1024kb and 448kb, totaling over 1472kb. While these are mod and you can shim the scripts out to make them more decorative, most sims would freak over that much men use plus whatever you use normally. I aim to be under 1400kb, normally averaging around 1200-600kb which usually has me pretty low on mem use boards, but combined with these wings I can instantly shoot up to the top. So great wings, just not very script friendly without personally making dummy versions.
