MESH DOOR SCRIPT (easy to use)
These scripts can be used in mesh doors or mesh windows indistinctly. The instructions are written for doors, but exactly the same process applies to windows. So if you want to use them with mesh windows instead of mesh doors, just replace the word "door" with "window" in your mind as you read :)
The scripts can also be used with sculpted doors and windows instead of mesh doors and windows.
VERY IMPORTANT: TRY THE DEMO VERSION BEFORE PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT! (There's a link to the Demo on the right, and also on the Related Items at the bottom of the page.) There will be no refunds if you purchase the complete version of the scripts and they do not suit your needs, as you are assumed to have tried the demo version first.
The scripts only work for single-prim mesh doors or sculpt doors, if they are to be linked. For unlinked doors, they can be multi-prim, as long as the door is the root prim. To be sure, try the demo on a copy.
There are instructions included. Please read them to know which of the included scripts suits your needs.
WHAT IT DOES
So you have built a wonderful mesh door, but you notice with horror that most door scripts in SL only rotate the door over its center! That's where this script will help you.
- It will rotate over the side of your door, instead of over the center. For that to work, you have to select the correct script; look at the included instructions.
- Open and close on touch. (Duh!)
- It includes built-in sounds for open/close.
- It auto-closes the door after 30 seconds.
- You can use it for the builds you sell (houses, garages, whatever) or for your own private use (it's cheap, after all!)
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not handle security (restrict who can open the door), double doors, size-changing or sliding doors. If you want a script capable of all these things, please check the UniDoor™ system (Setup + Runtime) in Related Items below.
It doesn't support open-on-collision or open-on-sensor either. If you need that, you can contact Sei Lisa for a custom version.

This script can only be redistributed with either NO COPY or NO TRANSFER permissions. It can't be redistributed as a standalone script; it can only be redistributed as part of a build. The script won't run without setting these perms first in your inventory.

I do a lot of building and have hated mesh doors and all the problems with using regular scripts in them. Hate fiddling with hinges, editing note cards etc. This was just drop and go!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE BEST SCRIPT IVE SEEN REGARDING DOORS AND WINDOWS! SO EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND USE I HATE READING DIRECTIONS SO I JUST THREW EVERYONE IN TILL I FOUND HE RIGHT ONE AND BOOM..LINKED IT TO MY HOUSE WITH NO PROBLEM. ALSO WHEN I WANTED TO USE IN MY WINDOWS I FOUND THEY SHUT AFTER 30 SECONDS AND WANTED THE OPTION TO JUST TOUCH THEM AGAIN WHEN MY CUSTOMERS WANTED TO CLOSE THEIR WINDOWS SO I IM'D THE CREATOR AND SHE RESPONDED RIGHT AWAY MAKING SURE I HAD THAT OPTION!

Hola! Después de haber buscado tanto al fin encontre unos scripts que me sirvieron para las puertas de la casa que diseñe y construí.

Helped me fix my own screw up!
Hi, baby builder and part time gacha collector here. I always wondered why gachas left the doors unlinked to the rest of the house, and unfortunately I found out. As soon as I linked them, the doors stopped working and not a script could be found. Luckily, I happened upon this little beauty and after 30 minutes worth of finagling, I restored my door's function! Great product, as long as you read the manual, you should have an easy time using these for your builds (or fixing your messes, lol)

I got the demo and when i try it omg I really wanted it so bad. the price is very cheap for the work that it was done. my opinion is that the price should be higher. it worth more! excellent work fast reply very helpful creator. I recommended to all builders.

This is a magnificent script product, I am extremely satisfied with both the scripts themselves and the helpful service that it's creator will happily provide in diagnosing any issues with them, and at a price of L$100, you can't go wrong at all in investing in this product!
