When I attempted to landscape my property some time back, I found that even though there were many well-done trees on the market (some with fantastic numbers of prims, flexibility and moving shadows) many of them were not truly realistic enough or simple enough to fit the look and scale I needed. So as with nearly everything I sell, necessity gave birth to a simple idea: take textures of real trees at high resolution, add a stationary shadow, then make it flexible in order to create a very realistic yet simple tree seen at noonday (or moonlight).
