The TC solar steam engine, is built from working design similar to the Monsieur Able Pifre solar engine tested in 1882 which was able to power a printing press.
There 3 versions of the TC steam engine and each of those comes in a touch on/off and Day cycle version which turns on/off with the day cycle in SL. There is about a 60 second delay on the day cycle detection and then an other delay as the steam pressure builds up before the engine will start running.

The collector with the simple roof top unit (RTU) was built to redirect the steam through the floor or roof to an engine located inside a building or other structure. (engine not included.)
The collector only version has 2 steam pipes that can be placed to connect to a wall or floor with out the extra prims, or connected to equipment of your choice.

Looks gorgeous inworld, particularly if lit up at night. Lovely ambient sound effects, great attention to detail. You even get a steam whistle to set off compulsively. Creator is super nice too - modded the script for me free of charge. Buy it!
