TDS Barrel Race System

Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete
a clover-leaf pattern around preset barrels in the fastest time.

It combines the horse's athletic ability and the horsemanship skills of a rider
in order to safely and successfully maneuver a horse through a clover leaf pattern
around three barrels placed in a triangle in the center of an arena.

In timed rodeo events, the purpose is to make a run as fast as possible
The timer begins when horse and rider cross the start line, and ends when the barrel
pattern has been successfully executed and horse and rider cross the finish line.

Wrong / missed passages or knocked over barrels incur a 5 second penalty.

Barrel Race Starter

- Barrel Race Starter Gate and Controller
- 3 Barrel Rezzer that rez barrels and checkpoints (invisible) as required
- Race pattern display, shows the pattern that should be ridden

Competition Starter

In the competition package, the following additional elements can be found:

- The Barrel Race Starter package
- Barrel Race competition controller, enabling competitive races between
up to 5 participants, through one to three laps.
- Barrel Race results display board, showing the summary results of the last
race or competition.

Competition Complete

For the professional rider or event organizer, there the competition complete
package with two additional displays for large events:

- The Barrel Race Starter package
- Barrel Race Highscore display, showing the 10 fastest riders of the track,
where each rider can have multiple entries on the display.
- Barrel Race Top 10 display, showing the 10 fastest riders of the track,
where each rider is only shown with the fastest time achieved.
