Worth the Linden, truly
I love all your work and I think I have nearly bought everything you have made. I appreciate the authenticity you put into the designs. Houses are well built, well textured and spacy enough to navigate around in. No complaints, except I want MORE MORE MORE !!!
No, I'm not a bot pasting the same text, I just realised I had some 20 plus items to review !!
What say more
Can't add nothing to the MurdockTheYounger review, just join him in give my compliments to the builder.
Great work. :)
A glorious mead hall
I bought this beautiful hall along with the Kattegat Great Hall for my home parcel. It's large, spacious, and truly has the atmospheric feel of a real mead hall. I have no real complaints, other than a few small bugs that I had found. For one, the roof flaps on the top seemed to open backwards (upside down). After speaking to the creator, they looked into it, and one of their assistants said that a region restart followed by a script reset would help. I will be trying this, and I'm sure it will work (our region owner and I did a lot of building and terraforming to put it all up, so I wouldn't be surprised). The other bug was that the smaller interior doors for the small inside rooms had alpha channels on their textures. This doesn't really break the product, but to the super-observant eye, it can be an "eye nagger". But I easily fixed that myself, by setting the alphas on the doors to "None". No problem. Easy fix. :) The creator of these fine products has been very expedient, patient, helpful, and polite in their assistance and support, and I cannot reinforce my opinion enough of how beautiful these buildings are. Simply breathtaking. If you love Viking stuff, this is for you. And they have other lines too, which I intend to check out.
Pros:
- Simply beautiful
- Large and spacious
- Authentic feel
- Firepit actually has "burn time", where it can be set to burn out after a while (or be kept on permanent).
Cons:
- Roof flaps seem to open upside down (may be a sim issue on my part; need to contact my region owner)
- Small interior single doors have alpha channels on them (Ctrl+Alt+T reveals them as red; spotted it when I could see the second handle on the other side, through one side). Easy fix. Edit-linked on the door, texture tab, change the alpha on the texture to "none".
Again, great stuff, and I will be buying more in the future. Highly recommended. :)
