My hour glass choice
The hour glass is very easy to use and the creator has been supportive to me ,giving to me a copy and modify version for my needs.
perfect for games where participants have only a limited time to perform a task
Easy to see when the time is up. So it is perfect for games like the regualar event on the German vhs Sim called "Great Europeans" where you have 30 seconds to ask a question in order to guess what famous person we are looking for.
The event manager can start the 30 seconds with a click and if neccessary change the time in a very easy HUD. So even people who are not so good in Sl can easily manage the timer.
The timer doesn't produce lag. It is practicably invisible on the top scripts list of the region.
Also the builder is very nice and helps if there might be an issue.
