- You may set the admittance for 2 groups ("friends"/strangers) separately for 2 states (you are at home/out).
This results in 16 opportunities to cover very different purposes.
The "friends" are to be entered in an internal list via menu and chat; persons who are not listed as "friends" are considered strangers. "Friends" can also be all members of a group.
- Defines the protected area via one or SEVERAL virtual cuboids. (see image 3)
You may either protect with only ONE system:
Your complete parcel (up to entire SIM) at any altitude
Or your complete parcels on a given SIM at any altitude
Or just your house (no matter if rectangular, L- or U-shape or with atrium or rotated)
Or just the 2nd level of the house and the adjacent beach house
Or just the ground area of your parcel(s) and one or several skyboxes
- automatically increasing/decreasing defense level
Example: Intruder "Mister X" has been ejected from the parcel (level 1). If "Mister X" needs to be attacked again within the next 30 days, he will be teleported home (level 2). If he returns within the following 90 days, he will be banned (level 3) (optional on all your parcels on the SIM). After 180 days he will be unbanned automatically and returns to level 2. If he does not return for further 90 days, he will return to level 1 and after another 30 days of probation his catalogue of sins will be deleted completely. All numeric values in this example as well as the start and maximum level can be set.

- Even SL newbies can limit the protected area to a specific range in height(for instance, 0 to 30 meters) easily and quickly with the help of the menu function "auto Config". The parcel limits and the area altitude are recognized automatically (see image 4). The result is a virtual cuboid which covers the complete parcel from the lowest point up to 25 meters above the highest point of the area (skyboxes are covered from 25 meters below up to 25 meters above the orb). By automatic rezzing of 8 corner marks (see image 5) the extent of the virtual cuboid is shown during "auto Config". On request, the top and/or the bottom of the cuboid can be raised/lowered via menu.
- If only one or some parts of the parcel shall be protected, the accompanying WKS Cuboids Tool offers a comfortable opportunity to determine the virtual cuboid(s).
- A sound file can be played optionally when guests or intruders arrive. 2 welcome sounds are available ("Welcome" female or male voice) as well as 4 attack sounds (police siren, barking dog, submarine alert, ship horn); own sounds are also possible. Individual welcome sounds are possible as well (e. g. for the partner with a "Hello darling" recorded with the own voice).

The landlord and his managers can
Enable/disable the orb at any time,
Set/delete the tenant and co-tenant
And they are never attacked.
The tenant can manage co-tenants, admittance mode and the "friends" list. When the rental contact ends, everything will be reset to a defined original state. The tenant receives a special help notecard via the menu button "Help".
Setting/deleting of the tenant can be automated by setting up a communication with the "WKS Pay Teleporter" or the "Hippo Rental Box".
Messages about visitors in unleased objects are sent to persons who are set especially in case they are online.

The IM also contains links to the profile of the visitor and a SLurl to teleport to the visitor’s position as well as the time (time zone can be set). Reports display name (AND username, if non default display name). You may activate/deactivate the messages for "unprotected", strangers, friends and co-tenants separately.
- Multilingual configurable warning for the intruder (11 predefined languages). The warning goes to the intruder in the language to which he/she has set the SL viewer.

- "Do-not-disturb" mode (ejects each intruder immediately without countdown. This infringes on the TOS – use on your own risk only!)

Ok I will admit, I am not savvy with notecard configuration.....not very SL savvy at to be honest. So when I tried to set up system it was hard directions to me looked as if it were written in old Egyptian text. I contacted the creator and he got back to me in less than 24hrs, and walked me through the process step by step. He was kind, polite, patient, and very professional. I love this system it allows customers to come into my clinic but not allowed in the exams rooms unless staff is present. no more clicking on and off alarm. This is hands down the best security that I have come across in SL, it is so hot I am setting up a vendor for one in my clinic. This security orb is well worth the linden and I mean well worth the linden. Thank you r2d2 for your awesome product

Man merkt, dass der Ersteller des Systems viel Zeit, Präszision und Liebe in dieses System gesteckt hat. Das System ist mehr als sein Geld wert. Bei Schwierigkeiten ist der Ersteller zu jeder Zeit zu erreichen und nimmt sich viel Zeit beim Erklären der Einstellungen und bei den Anpassungen an das jeweilige Land. Auch wenn man mal etwas auf der Leitung steht ist der Ersteller sehr geduldig und geht erst, wenn das System optimal angepasst ist. Dieses System kann man nur weiter empfehlen. :-)))
Absolut empfehlenswert
Das System ist das beste was ich bisher hatte (und das waren einige :-)). Der Verkäufer ist total nett und vor allem hat er eine Engelsgeduld mit Leuten wie mir, die sich etwas dumm anstellen. ;-))Der Service ist perfekt und er ist als Ansprechpartner immer zu erreichen, falls man Fragen hat oder mal wieder vergessen hat wie man den Orb auf seinem neuen Land aktiviert. Ich kann Home Security Orb nur weiter empfehlen. *Daumen hoch*
