They are perfect for off sim waves...nice and full and slow moving like actual water is deeper out. They are also further off sim than most 'off sim' waves. I grew up around the Pacific Ocean and I know what waves should look like...these are them.

I've used this wave for years and it looks very realistic. At only 3 prims you get a lot of wave for your buck. There is no sound with this wave, so you won't be deafened by uncontrollable ocean sounds. I love Zun's work!
Gorgeous—just like the photo
When I saw this on SL Marketplace, I hesitated to try it. Honestly, the photo looked too good to be true. But I was not disappointed. These waves look just like the photo--large, powerful, and with realistic back-washing action as the water ebbs back to the sea between incoming rolls of surf.
While this wave is beautiful, I caution people that it is large and not easy to manipulate to get it right--especially if you want it to wash around existing structures, such as off sim rocks, beaches, etc. But it is possible. You must have patience, and for those who don't know: ALWAYS press CTRL 3 to open an editing box BEFORE you rez the item. That way, it will automatically be selected so you can move it into place (even if it rezzed 50' above you, or on someone else's parcel, etc.).
Since this one ends up being just a hair too big for my current parcel, I plan to buy Zun Design's smaller versions; but I can't wait for the day when I have a bigger homestead so I can use it. :)
