This orrery looks great on the ceiling or on the floor! Both 20 prim and simple 11 prim versions included.
When installing your orrery in your home, be sure that you are using the correct version for the floor or ceiling. Do NOT attempt to manually rotate your orrery over while it is in motion as this will cause it to malfunction. If you want to rotate the orrery, be sure to do it only while it is stopped.
Touch your orrery at any time for a control menu which will allow you to reset, start, resize, light. or alter the speed of your orrery.
If you want to change the light settings of your orrery, light it through the orrery menu, then use the SL Build panel to change the light settings. Your orrery will remember the new settings and you can safely turn it on and off.
Please be warned: This device makes extensive use of "Target Omega" rotation. This is a client-side effect that can sometimes have unpredictable results depending on Second Life is feeling today. You may need to RESET and START your orrery a few times before it will look like it is moving correctly. If it looks like it is moving correctly but the base is out of alignment, try taking it back into your inventory and re-rezzing (the one you just took) as this should fix the problem.

I've loved these things ever since I saw one in The Dark Crystal. Now I can own one!
You get three different versions. One is intended to be suspended from the ceiling. The other two rest on a surface. One of the two 'upright' versions has a railing. By default they're rather large, and can be made larger, but they can also be made almost as small as a desk lamp, so it's not hard to find a place for it.
They're lightweight on sim resources.
Also, the builder is trustworthy. I had trouble with the delivery of another product (which was not their fault), and when I sent them the transaction number, they sent me my product immediately.
I really like this lamp. I love that it comes in both high and low prim versions. Fits in to a LOT of builds, even non-steampunk ones. I'd recommend this to anybody looking for a cool lamp or, well orrery...
Perfect! Can set speeds for every rotation and earth's rotation seperately so it's not either INCREDIBLY FAST or incredibly slow! Good work!
