A pair of rigged mesh feathered wings that only works with the I monster European dragon. This was a lot harder to make than what I usually do, so there may be problems here and there. If you see anything wrong, please let me know and I'll try to send out any fixes or improvements as soon as I can. The texture that comes with the wings is tintable, and I have also included UVs and stuff so you can mod them however you like.
Make sure you alpha out the wings that come with the dragon when you wear this or it'll look weird.
The feathers look a little funky when the wings fold in some positions right now, but I'm working on an update that should improve this at least a little.
- rigged mesh wings
- textures and UVs for modding
These are gorgeous, but just not quite there.
I love these wings. I have modded them considerably on multiple alts. Unfortunately even the default animations don't play nice with these wings due to the way the imonster dragon rigs the wings on the finger bones. Not sure if there is a fix, but if there was ever an update for these I'd be the happiest feathery dragon around.
Nice
The rig is a little mess, especially with the folded wings AO,
but the model and texture map is great
Hope you can update the rig correctly
Just what I needed!
While there is an issue with the rigging which I see is being looked into, It's just what my dragon needed! I use the folding wing AO and all I had to do to get rid of the crumpling was turn the AO off or detach it, fly then land, and put the AO back on and it seemed to sort itself out. I look forward to the updates!
Very Nice
I tossed a 4 star on this because I've played with things from this creator before and they always do their best to try and correct issues with them.
As the previous person commented, the rigging does need a little attention paid to.
Using the folding wings AO as an example, this is what it looks like from behind. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/363331186749079553/654563518468718592/unknown.png?width=545&height=508
And this is what it looks like from the side.

Understanding how the rig is currently set up, it uses the arms/hands/fingers to animate the wings which can cause some interesting headaches.
Now with how the wings are set up, as they seem layered planes, you can end up with undesirable results. This could be corrected by countering some of the rotational stuff with animations. I'm going to try and make adjustments myself but because of the nature of the wings being created with planes you get some REALLY wild stretching on the feathers closest to the body. I may be even able to overcome that with a bit of texturing skill but until I test it further I simply won't know.
Great potential and concept, does not animate well unfortunately!
Using these wings with the folding@wings AO leaves them crumpled, as well as the wings looking awkward in many animations where the wings are not spread out. I'm sure a little editing with rigging and weight painting can fix it though!
