FURWARE text is a script for displaying text on prims using textures. It is intended to be integrated in your objects in which it will be controlled by your own scripts.
FURWARE text is not a ready-made display board but is intented for scripters who wish to integrate it in their own creations.
This script is open source under the MIT license. Please see the license text in the scripts and the documentation for details.

- Only one script for a whole group ("sets") of displays
- Formatting (color, alpha, alignment, wrapping, trimming, font, borders)
- Mesh prims with 1 to 8 chars, only occupying 0.5 prims each
- Virtual text boxes to position text arbitrarily
- Style templates for encapsulating multiple style settings

Incredible, fast and efficient.
Heck, I've been trying to wrap my head around XYZZY for a while for the HUD I was trying to create, each time it was a pain in the ass, but now I've found this and it's incredibly easy, no trouble at all and better yet, even my simple little mind got around it in a matter of seconds :D!
Wonderfull product
Using text is a problem in Sl products... Was always a trouble...
But....This works perfect , as mesh it costs less prims and versatile styling helps me a lot.. Very fast too!! Thank you ochi, For your cool product ..
Fast, efficient, and wow, only one script
Yeah, I pretty much tossed xyzzy in the trashcan, this is sooo much easier, and even has more features, faster and, oh, it works, each time, rather than every other time. With the included display rezzer, it's pretty much pain free, build, script, drop in furware text, poof, one hint though, read the notecard properly. Help is on his website, I didn't catch that at first, and the documentation there is better thn you'll get on an NC any day of the week.
More than expected
This product exceeded my expectations. After years of using xyzzy, it's a breath of fresh air.
The tags allowed me to highlight important text and numbers on my hud, something I couldn't do with xy. The alignment functions allowed me to remove code from my scripts. Allowing multiple sets let me display my data as if it were in a spreadsheet.
In short, this product made my product faster, better looking and leaner on code. On top of that Ochi is responsive, and VERY helpful. I couldn't ask for more.
