Strange Doors and Attic Stairs
The building itself is nice and very easily customisable. However.
When resized the doors and the pull down attic stairs don't open where they're meant to. The attic pull down ladder moves to the spot I would imagine it to be if the building were larger and stays there when closed, and the doors open about a half a meter away from the hinges, however closes properly.
There are note cards in the doors however I don't understand them enough to make the changes needed.
Almost
This is a very well made house indeed. It is small enough to be cozy yet big enough for good camera freedom and the overall layout is great. Also I love that it comes in two versions with either a ladder or permanent staircase to the addict. This was actually almost the perfect house for us. Almost.
Of course it's a matter of taste but both me and my girlfriend found the walls to be too bland. Sure they can be teinted but we wanted a new wallpaper so thank god the building is copy-mod (like everything in SL shoud be) right? Wrong. Sure its mod. The textures in each room is one face instead of 4 and thats all fine ... however that one face acts like its 4 that doesn't allign so using a wallpaper with any form of pattern is a no-go. There's nothing we can do about it and thus this otherwise great house will most likely just sit in my inventory. What a shame!
I am not a creator so why the textures has been made that way I do not know. Most likely its because of the (very subtle) baked shadows in the original texture and a way to lower the prim count a bit. All I know is that with "normal" texture faces so you could personalize the rooms with ease I would have handed out all 5 stars but I have to stop at 4 :-)
