The SAFE (Shergood Aviation Flight Engine) engine driving this virtual reproduction is the most advanced and realistic in SL., developed by an RL helicopter pilot The engine is purely physics based and features independent control of cyclic, collective and anti-torque pedals. Many real-world helicopter effects are also modeled as part of the engine including translational lift, translating tendency, ground effect, main rotor torque and vortex ring state.

Absolutely Perfect and a great job by the builder
This was a gift and I was given the opportunity to choose if I was interested in reality or just push the arrow keys to move, I know I made the right decision. The warning about being for advanced pilots is fair, but in order to become an advanced pilot you need to be willing to learn and pushing the arrow key is not going to do that. Reading the well written instructions and taking it slow have allowed me to take off and land after about an hour in the pilots seat, next steps will be to actually begin to fly from place to place, but I know I will have a blast learning.
The reality in the cockpit is amazing with the HUD and managing the pressure levels with the included gestures and cockpit controls is a blast, if you plan to have a friend flying with you you best be in voice as your hands will be to busy to type as you take control and fly
I also love the incredible steam punk look to allow me to create some amazing images, the attention to detail is a mark that the maker takes pride in their work and it shows, the machine has an auto generated N-# (registration) the N represents U.S. registration and if I had any wishes at all it would be to get Canadian registration with C-GLSP, but that is all I would change, and then as I dive deeper into the the menu of the Aircraft I find that requesting a new registration number is built into the program, I would be giving 10 stars if I could.
The menu’s also let you adjust the level of reality as you fly to make it easier, but I have not changed that at all, I am having a blast as I learn and once I feel confident I suspect I will get other more mainstream Helicopters from this maker as they all look great, one will not be enough although right now I have my hands full as I learn

It took me about 20? minutes at most between reading the side and poking the helicopter itself until i got it running without using a quick start...honestly? it has to be one of the easiest to get going. The sounds used from the main prop running, boiler and steam sounds...perfect! it fits the theme and how i would imagine it. I really like the fact you need to keep making micro adjustments during the flight and more so main taining your boiler pressure (not hard when you watch the guages) top quality like the other aircraft i have from this maker <3 and the only problem i ever had during my flights was the main rotor animation stopping on some sim crossings and it was fixed in the next crossing or on the second and it started rotating again.
Wonderful heli and easy to fly for moderate to advanced pilots <3 love the theme on this more then you know and i hope to see more like this in the future
