Forget ALL the rest, just get the best
How do you write a review on something, when the review title says it all? Sure it's pricey, but what you're buying is the best system you'll ever find in SL for in-world editting. It really is that simple. Using it is not simple however, it will take a lil practise, and indeed, I still am, Trying to figure out, for example, how best to stitch 3x3 sculpted map prims together to be seamless is a taxing process, which I wish the Sculpt Studio would make easier. But the end result is fantastic, and the sculpts are stunningly high quality. I've bought MANY in-world sculpt systems, and with the exception of the cord rezzer I use, and the necklace cord generator, all the rest are going in the trash can, I simply have no use for them :)
If you wanna make sculpts, but you can't use Blender. This is the ONLY tool you should get, the price tag is easily worth it. Indeed, knock me up in-world if you aren't sure, and I'll demo it, if you like, since there is no usable demo in world
Awesome Tool
First of all: it IS complicated! (But who ever said sculpts are easy?). For sure the documentation could be better. But looking at me as a "sculptie noob" who tried with Blender before and never achieved anything else than things which looked like crumbled paper balls, I immediately could create simple forms. Compared with Blender, it is far more self explaining, easier to understand, and most of all (see above!): it immediately creates results. With some better manuals I would award 5 stars, but it remains to be an excellent tool, which is for sure not cheap, but worth.

Oh how i love Sculpt Studio and their groups, it gives you a lot of help information and tips from groups, and i have one since 2 week, i still LOVE it! and this is worth it, if you are a sculptie, this is the one for you. 2 THUMBS UP!!
Most valuable SL tool I own
I love tools, both in RL and in SL. I've purchased a number of tools, even picked up some free tools I use most every time I work, but this tool is now my favorite. It's all I want to do. When's the next class, I keep wondering! :) There is a LOT to learn to use this tool, but it is also very visual and sufficiently intuitive that one doesn't need to memorize many menu paths. I've used a number of other skulptie tools including Rokuro, Sculptie Pant, both of which are so limited as to be of little value, and have spent many, many days trying to understand how to use Blender, but with Sculpt Studio, I was making things about which I felt reasonably proud in less than 2 weeks.
If you are thinking about or have purchased this tool, read the "Sweet Sculpties" group. They are able to provide a lot of immediate help when needed, and I've never seen anyone being made fun of for being new to the software. I have only slight reservations in recommending it, and that's only for the truly spacially challenged. For everyone else, I highly recommend it.

@ first thought i wouldnt b able to doit but..After watchin some youtube videos it became pretty simple..Made a sculpted sneaker today came out pretty good :D
