How to change the colour of the lights
They tell you you can, but not how. Here's how:
Edit the string, and in the Texture tab click on the Edit Linked box, and select the Select Face button. Then left click on a bulb, and choose your desired colour for the bulbs. I found that they look better with about a 30% Transparency.
