Why pay out the nose for fireflies when you can have them for just 1L. Place the emitter where you like it and click to set the options. When you are happy, select Hide from the menu. To show it later just
/1000 show
Update 10/19: The script has been improved. Fireflies are now more (realistically) smaller and start out with less being emitted allowing you more control over how many you'd like using the menu.
Additionally, now is also included a wearable Jar of Fireflies. They fly around in the jar and you can let them out to play (by clicking on it and using the menu). This is a great way to have fireflies with you anywhere!

I have a few of these emitters for fireflies, this is the best. Most configurable, most options, AND you can't beat the price.

I've been searching for months for a great emitter and could never find one that could meet my high standards....while the fireflies aren't perfect the item is amazing for what you get. Completely adjustable as to amount and radius of the particle effect....right down the the hide option and the fact that it resembles a glowing moon....I love this item and will be using it in all my future garden designs.

I LOVE THE CREATOR FOR MAKING IT =D It has an incredible menu for as many or as little fireflies you want....it has a huge radius or you can make it simple and small. The particles themselves just...ughhh omg so amazing and subtle. they float around so beautifully. You gotta buy this! I was worried that I would have to spend a fortune for a firefly emitter that offer this much quality.1 linden...its crazy!

it was exactly what i wanted. all i wanted were some simple pretty fireflies. i got more than i asked for..the only thing i would have liked was the ability to mess with the emitter. it's a cute moon..but i can't make it bigger to make it part of the build..so i had to hide it
