Fan Script / Rotation Script (3 Speed)
Edit your ceiling fan prim, other fan, or any prim you want to rotate, and drop the script into it. Click on the prim to start the fan, more clicks will cycle through the speeds (low/medium/high) and then off, just like pulling the string on a RL ceiling fan.
Two versions are provided, a normal one that will whisper to you when the fan is touched, and a "Quiet" one that won't.

This is not a remote control, you click the fan itself.

Works good
Works pretty good. One thing that isn't mentioned in the ad is that it rotates on the z axis, which meant my fan blades rotated vertically instead of horizontally. Not being a scripter, through trial and error I figured out that changing the numbers for rotation in the script (line 6) from 0,0,1 to 0,1,0 it now turns properly. Too bad it doesn't come with a remote because once the blades are spinning it's a little tricky to click on them. But for L$50, it's a nice little script that does what it says.
