An 18th century bergére hat available in 10 colors, with or without feathers. All are modifiable so you can tint them to the precise color you want. The underside is flat so it looks better with taller hairstyles.
"A bergére is a low crowned, wide-brimmed hat, usually of straw, but sometimes made of other materials covered in silk. Bergére hats first appeared in the 1730s, and were popular in various forms throughout the 18th century.
Bergére literally means shepherdess (the masculine shepherd is a berger), and the style has a strong link with 18th century pastorialism, and pastoral fashions."

Wonderful Bergere Hat! Dress it up for Versailes or down for the Queen's Hamlet.
Adore this hat with the ribbon colors and plume/no plume options. Wear it nearly flat for earlier 1700's hair or other eras(even Edwardian or modern) or move it and tilt for higher 18th century hairstyles. It is so realistic, compared to other Bergere hats I've tried. Worth the price!
Wonderful!
This hat is a dream come true! It is extremely customizable, you can pick from a variety of colors, you can choose to add the feathers or a ribbon that goes down and around behind the head of the wearer. It is very versatile, perfect for a formal day at a 1790s royal court or a casual summer day in the 1910s. This hat is well worth its value. I can hardly wait for more antique furniture and accessories from this fabulous store, everything, and I do mean everything, from this store is impeccable and the creator is so friendly and helpful!
